1 | EXPLORE Leadership Programme | Sec 2NA & 3NA | This programme aims to bring in its first selection of unpolished gems from the NA/NT stream. Our goal is to develop the qualities of these students and make them into inspiring role models to their peers. Students will be involved in converting food waste from the canteen to compost that will be used for the plants in the school garden. |
2 | Smoking Cessation/Blitz Program | Small Group – Smokers From All levels | Students will be continuously undergoing group therapy; high level motivational aspects will be delivered to these students in many forms, some of which will have to come from the school values itself. Relapse, reflection, epiphany and enlightening realization sessions will be carried out occasionally to inculcate this values and strengths within the group. |
3 | Breakfast with GPs | All | A 30 min session where the students start their day sec 1 orientation and post exam days with their GPs. |
4 | International Students’ Program | All International Students | Students go through a series of cultural immersion programs and bonding sessions with their fellow international and local students. This is done through various learning journeys and BBQ sessions/outings. These learning journeys allow international students to understand and immerse into Spore culture, while the bonding sessions helps them settle comfortably in school. |
5 | National Education (NE) | All | Various activities, celebrations and parades will take place to commemorate Total Defence Day, International Friendship Day, Racial Harmony Day and National Day. In additional formal curriculum on the citizenship component takes place during CCE lessons. Lower secondary students are involved in investigations in humanities that revolves around citizenship education. Upper Sec students have talks by Singapore Land Authority and CPF board to enhance their understanding on policies impacting Singaporeans. |
6 | Educational Career Guidance (ECG) | All | ECG comprises of three components: 1) The formal curriculum which is conducted during CCE lessons, focusing on SEL competencies 2) The online sessions on ‘MySkillsFuture Students Portal’ where students go through a series of questions that does a career profiling and information on course criteria and tertiary institutions 3) Job Attachments 4) Tertiary Institution Visits All these sessions equips students with the required knowledge of the various industries available and allows them to set sensible targets, make responsible decisions and work towards their goal and attain the required skills. 7 | Sexuality Education (SEd) | All | Sexuality Education is delivered in a holistic manner through the school’s Character & Citizenship Education (CCE) curriculum. The content for Sexuality Education is grouped into five main themes: Human Development, Interpersonal Relationships, Sexual Health, Sexual Behaviour, and, Culture, Society and Law. Sec 1 to 5 students go through a formal curriculum on sexuality education that focuses on their social emotional competencies like Self Awareness, Social Awareness, Responsible Decision Making, Self-Management and Relationship Management. Sec 3 go through an additional e-teens component. 8 | After School Engagement (ASE) Programme | Sec 1 - 3 | Identified students are trained to run the Student centre and organise programs for the rest of the student population after school. |
9 | Class Talks by School Counsellors and AYH | All | School counsellors conduct a chit chat sessions with every class at least once throughout the year to provide social-emotional support for the students. AYH conduct termly talks and one on one talks to provide social-emotional and academic support for students. |
10 | Teacher Counsellors | All | Teacher counsellors are assigned to every level to provide an additional layer of social emotional support for the students |
11 | ICARE Package | All | Students deepen their knowledge on Integrity, Camaraderie, Adaptability, Responsibility and excellence through fun activities during CCE lessons. |

- VIA Projects for Sec 5 (World) - Sec 5 Leo & 4 Arm raised $1620 and adopted 3 children from World Vision (increase of 1 child since the adoption in 2015)
- VIA Projects for Sec 3 Lin & 3 Goe (Community) – Students of each class organized a block party themed National Day & Hari Raya respectively, engaging the residents at Marsiling Blk 16 (Fuchun’s adopted block) in songs, dance, games and food.
